Actor and country-pop singer and song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the crew on One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. The first of Jana Kramer's country albums were featured on episodes of the show and helped to push her debut album from 2012 to the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was followed by Thirty One in 2015 and hit Number Ten. In the final decade of her career, she made appearances in Dancing with the Stars along with a variety of TV films. Released in 2021 was The Self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there by her parents Jana Rae and David Kramer, grew to love country music. Then she began to pursue recording but her career began acting beginning in 2002 on the independent horror flick Dead/Undead when she was still in her teens. Kramer was a guest on episodes in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was Portia during 90210's 2008-2009 seasons and Brooke in Entourage the year 2009. She then starred as Alex Dupre in CW One Tree Hill. Kramer stayed with the cast up to about halfway through the last season in 2012 Jana Kramer Kramer was a character on One Tree Hill from 2009 through 2012. She had signed an agreement with Elektra Records, and she debuted her contemporary country love track I Won't Give Up in an One Tree Hill episode in 2011. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was included in her first complete album Jana Kramer. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. In order to appeal her huge fan base she continued her acting in films like Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer dropped her second album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. I Got the Boy - the album's Top Five country single - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, singing a duet on to make the album a bigger success. Beginning in September of 2016, she spent two months on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth-place finish. It was also the year when she had a major adult contemporary smash, courtesy of the song "Feel Just Like" Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
